As vital community partners Washington Unified School District and the Grupe Company have asked ImageWorks Architecture to join them in the design and development of a new elementary academy school for the new river front community of Governor’s Park. When completed for the 2005-06 Academic year the facility will be the new school for 560 K-8 students and will become a community-gathering place in conjunction with the integrated community aquatics center. This new academy school will give opportunity for this community to continue revitalization efforts and to be a focal point for both the children and the residences of this river front community.
